Two's Company... Three's Splendid!
When it was just the two of us it was great. Now that it's the three of us it's splendid! Two's company, three's a crowd? Not in this family!! Please enjoy taking a look at our first family photos. We hope you enjoy them as much as we do!
Happy Halloween!
Happy Halloween! Emma and I went to the library today for Halloween story time and she dressed up as a candy corn fairy. She was the cutest one there! It's hard to see her wings in the photo of us together so I took one of the wings at home (along with her tutu). She even had candy corns on her sleeper. Thank you, MawMaw for another adorable costume! What a fantastic Halloween!

Sending Smiles Your Way
Just a little video of us sending smiles and laughter from our home to yours...
Boo Bash
Today was the library's Halloween Boo Bash and it was the cutest event! There were SO MANY children there that were all dressed up for Halloween. The parking lot was completely full and people had to park along the roads down the street to get in. They had snacks and crafts and a "parade" where the kids could walk around the library to get candy, but we left before getting any candy since neither Zack or I wanted any and Emma is too young to eat it. Plus, she was falling asleep at that point so we figured it was time to get her sleepy tail home.
We were by far the cutest couple there. I absolutely LOVED our cowardly lion and Dorothy costumes. Emma looked adorable in her lion outfit! I just can't get enough of her in it! I'm already thinking about re-wearing them to storytime tomorrow just for fun (since it's still Halloween). Emma still has one more costume to wear so we'll have to see what she'll be tomorrow.
Thank you, MawMaw, for making us these BEAUTIFUL costumes. You really truly made our first Halloween spooktacular!

I'm a Little Pumpkin, Short and Stout
Today my little pumpkin was a little pumpkin! She was adorable in the first of her three Halloween costumes this year. Her pumpkin costume was plush and super soft, which made her even more snuggle-able (if that's even possible). We went to the store, to Qdoba, and to bring Papa lunch at work in her adorable pumpkin costume. Everyone loved it! It was fun to hold her in such a cute, snuggly outfit.
Unfortunately, we weren't able to go to storytime today at the library (which was where I was hoping she could wear her costume) because she woke up with a cold. Even with my hand washing and being careful with my kisses she still got my cold. Remarkably (as you can tell from the photos), she's actually been a very happy little girl despite her runny nose. We've seen a lot of adorable smiles today! A little sneezing, lots of napping, lots of boogies, and a couple of coughs are all that seem to ail her so far. I hope that that's as bad as it gets.
I'm a little pumpkin short and stout,
here is my handle here is my spout.
when I get all steamed up hear me shout,
"Feed me milk and let me pout!"
I love my little pumpkin...

Somewhere Over The Rainbow
We are back home again after a whirlwind trip back to Indiana for Jane's 1st birthday party. It was absolutely wonderful to have Zack come back with us. It made me happy to have my whole family there to visit. It was a lot of driving in a very short amount of time, but it's always worth it!
We were able to cram lots of visiting in during the two days we were there but it still never felt like we got enough time in with everyone. There just aren't enough minutes in the day! Unfortunately, when we left for our "Red Eye" drive on Thursday night I started to get a sore throat and it turned into an all out cold while we were there visiting. It was no fun feeling poorly, but was even worse that I couldn't kiss and hug my family more. With all the adorable babies I usually love to give them smooches and snuggles but I had to hold it in this time (Huh- I guess that's why they were all so happy!). I'm on the mend now, but it sure was rough driving home at 2am being both sick and exhausted. Blech.
Friday night we celebrated Pop's birthday and Saturday we celebrated Jane's. Her party was rainbow themed and it was absolutely adorable. Myra went above and beyond to make Jane's first birthday one to remember. MawMaw made Emma a rainbow party dress to wear for the celebration which made her look not only adorable but incredibly festive! We loved it! There were rainbows everywhere. What fun!
We were hustling from the party to Pap's for a quick visit before Emma's next mealtime when lo and behold, the police are pulling Zack over. Yup. 71 in a 55. Zack got his first ever warning on Saturday (he says he's never been warned, only ticketed). He thinks it was luck. Emma says it was her cuteness. I say the officer just felt bad for the turd who had to drive an ego-bruiser.
