"Ummmmm... Santa didn't see this, right?"
So Emma and I were on our way to Target to get some rear schmear and we hit a little holiday traffic. It was a bit of stop and go traffic for a little while but wasn't too awful. Emma, however, disagreed. She huffed and puffed when we stopped and was happy happy when we drove. Little did I know that during her outrage at the holiday traffic she was also destroying her beautiful crocheted hat. Sigh.... Oh, Emma. Needless to say, she got a new hat while we were in Target.
She also ate prunes for the first time today (as well as her first non-mama prepared food). I couldn't find any plums at the store so making my own food wasn't an option. Gerber baby won that battle tonight and Emma lovedddddddd them! She made a face for the first bite (new food) and then opened up big and smacked her lips. They taste like grape pudding. Yummy!
Emma also got lots of practice tonight crawling/scooting backwards. Grandma Paula told me that Emma's papa never really crawled but just scooted backwards. Did Emma inherit this trick? It's fun watching her figure it out.
