Bliss

 

 

Indeed... Mama knows best.  Bliss has overcome our home now that we're back to doing things my way.  Emma has had wonderful naps, is sleeping for hours at night, is happy, happy, happy when she's awake and goes to bed on her own without me rocking her.  My sweet angel is back again!

 

We finished our first book together- her children's bible.  I read out loud to her when we're nursing and I wanted her first book to be the bible.  Success!  We're now on to reading "The Secret Garden."  She seems to enjoy the sound of my voice. 

 

Papa had the night off last evening after working 18 hours.  This afternoon before heading into work for the night shift we were able to get some snuggle time in.  Hugs, kisses, and Emma inspecting Papa's beard were all part of her waketime fun.  Today while we were visiting, Papa was burping Emma and we both will attest to the fact that the two burps that came out of that sweet little bundle were HUGE and would put a drunken sailor to shame.  We were amazed that that loud of a burp could come from such a tiny package.  She made us laugh.
