What a busy week we have had so far! Miss Emma Kate had her second doctor's appointment at UK on Monday. She made me a very proud Mama as we found out that she's grown 1/2 an inch and already weighs 6 pounds 3 ounces. The doctors were thrilled to see how much she's gained in such a short period of time. She's already working on working her back and neck muscles a lot, as you can see by the photo with Papa above. She likes to look around and loves to follow my voice.
Yesterday we introduced her to her Baby Einstein play mat. She LOVED it! She would look around and kick her little arms and legs for a long while. It's so much fun to see her experience new things.
Today we went to meet Terrah at a coffee shop for an afternoon break. It was her first "restaurant" trip and she did beautifully! What a great baby girl...
